ActionAid's work in the United States began in 2000. Work focuses on advocating on behalf of others, and is largely directed towards policy makers such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. ActionAid USA also evaluates the effectiveness of such groups and links partners with US-based organisations and funders who work on the same issues.
