Will you make a difference?

Remember ActionAid in your Will and help challenge the reasons behind people's poverty and change their lives for good.

Our bequest program helps to fund some of our most important projects- from providing relief to communities in times of disaster, to putting pressure on governments and helping poor and vulnerable people stand up and claim their rights. By leaving a gift to ActionAid in your will, you could make our vital projects possible.

We understand that there are many questions you may have in regards to how to go about leaving a bequest to ActionAid in your will, we hope we can help answer them quickly and efficently for you. To find out more about ActionAid Australia's activities, receive advice on standard Wills, or discuss making a bequest, please contact our knowledgeable Bequest Manager, Karen Elliff on (02) 9565 9130.

Include a Charity campaign

On March 21st 2011, the Include a Charity campaign was launched nationally with a TV advertisement created to change people's behaviour and educate about the benefits of leaving a gift in their will.

ActionAid is one of the 100 charities working together to raise awareness about the importance of leaving a charitable bequest.

The Include a Charity website contains practical information about preparing a will; how to leave a gift in your will, and finding a suitable charity to donate to. The Include a Charity campaign is calling on the generosity of everyday Australians to leave a gift in their will, however small.

The new campaign also challenges the misconception that only wealthy people leave bequests.
