Sweden

ActionAid Sweden was established in March 2006 and is one of ActionAid's newest members.

In Sweden, ActionAid works with civil society and government organisations to address poverty and injustice. Influencing Swedish policies to support development is one of its main aims. The office also works to influence the policies of international institutions like the European Union, the United Nations, the World Bank and the World Trade Organisation so that they support people's right to development.

The Swedish office also works to raise funds to support the work of ActionAid internationally in our global campaign to end poverty and injustice.
