Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to be a part of ActionAid's work and develop your skills and expertise.
As a rule, ActionAid does not send volunteers overseas to work in our projects. Wherever possible, we aim to provide local people with employment opportunities first.
If you would like to volunteer for a role in our Sydney office, we would love to hear from you. All available roles are advertised as we do not keep applications on file.
We encourage applications from all backgrounds and age groups. Most roles require you to commit to at least one to two days a week, during standard working hours, for three months or more.
ActionAid Australia is a child safe employer and applicants may be required to undergo police and background checks.
Current volunteer positions:
Applications Close: 16th September 2010
